I decided to use my time at the sewing class to copy and cut patterns instead of doing any real sewing. It’s just that I don’t have any suitable table to do it at home. I tried, but it only got the fabric dirty and made my back hurt.
Today, I didn’t get to sew anything either, because 1) it was high time to get a new haircut
2) there were two new sewing magazines to read (Burda and Ottobre) and 3) I had to admire and preshrink some fabric I got that were on sale:
Two fabrics for two more trousers (details will follow once I have finished each project):
And four more:
Retro-patterned cotton, off-white and white batiste, lightblue cotton with dark blue dots. Click to enlarge.
I especially love the retro-patterned one:
I have these last two in mind for Simplicity 3964, a pattern everyone does sooner or later. I hope it will look good on me. The one with the blue dots is for a simple New Look blouse.
As soon as I’ve finished the other trousers and get some photos done, I’ll post them here.
